Connect to Salesforce
The Salesforce plugin is already available in your Claude account under the Pelago section.
- Open the Claude desktop app
- Go to Settings → Plugins
- Under the Pelago section, find the Salesforce plugin
- Make sure it's enabled
Before connecting, make sure you're logged into Salesforce in your browser.
- Log out of any other Salesforce orgs (staging, sandbox, etc.)
- Go to your production Salesforce login page
- Log in with your credentials
- Keep this tab open — Claude will use this session to authenticate
Start a new Cowork session and ask Claude anything about Salesforce. It will prompt you to authorize the connection.
- A browser tab will open with a Salesforce authorization screen
- Review the permissions and click Allow
- The tab will close — go back to Claude
- Claude should return your name and Salesforce profile info
Learn the Basics
Ask Claude to pull account data. Use plain English — no need to know SOQL or Salesforce query syntax.
Claude will return a formatted table with account details. Try swapping in different account names or filters.
